North Carolina born, Vanetta attended UNC-Chapel Hill with a concentration in Communication Studies.  But it was her years of sales and bartending experience that solidified Vanetta as a Self Proclaimed "People-ologist". After working in people industries, Vanetta decided to meld her love of people and crazy life experiences and become a stand up comedian. As a comedian, Vanetta has performed on WeTV and Amazon Prime. In 2017 Vanetta decided to strengthen her voice and provide a platform to uplift women and Funny Hunnyz was born. One live production has led to over 65. Vanetta has been the Executive Producer for them all. She is a festival coordinator/producer for both the Black Women in Comedy Festival and the Harlem Comedy Festival. And Funny Hunnyz has been a featured showcase in three comedy festivals nationwide. It is her aim to Empower as well Entertain one production at a time.
